COVID-19 VACCINATION POLICY (FOR PATRONS)
In accordance with requirements contained in federal, state, and local health orders, the San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center (War Memorial) requires the following:
1. War Memorial requires that all patrons age twelve (12) and older provide proof of vaccination prior to entering the facility. Documented proof of vaccination verification must be made available to War Memorial staff on request. Staff will check for valid vaccination proof at all venue entrances. Acceptable proof includes physical card, photo of physical card, electronic proof through California Vaccine Record site, or other reputable electronic sites (VaxYes, etc.). Patrons who do not have proof can be verified by an on-site EMT who has electronic access to the health-care provider vaccine record database. Vaccine proof will be checked against photo ID to verify matched identity.
2. If a patron cannot be vaccinated because they are under the age of twelve (12), a negative test result received in the 48-hours prior to their entry will be accepted in lieu of proof of vaccination.
3. Due to the risk unvaccinated persons pose to others, the War Memorial will not make accommodations for medical reasons or sincerely-held religious beliefs from patrons.
4. All patrons must wear well-fitted masks that cover their nose, mouth, and chin when inside the facility unless they are actively eating or drinking. Gators, kerchiefs, and other coverings of similar types do not meet the definition of a well-fitted mask. Well-fitted masks may be removed while actively eating or drinking, and patrons are urged to be seated at a table or positioned at a stationary counter or place while eating or drinking. Cafe tables for eating and drinking are available throughout the venue.
